Come to our historic sanctuary for worship on Sunday at 11 a.m. Adult ed and children's ed will be held at 10 a.m.
There is nursery care for small children and a Godly Play class during the service for young kids.
Join us for refreshments downstairs after the service.
Our dynamic children's program provides worship, education and special fun events for all ages. We have a full-time children's director who teaches the youth and leads special events such as a Halloween party, Christmas party and Vacation Bible School. On Sunday, we have friendly children's education classes before worship and a Godly Play program for younger children during worship.
As a reconciling congregation, Dumbarton welcomes gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people as visitors and members. In 1987, Dumbarton become one of the first churches in the Washington, D.C., area to become a reconciling congregation, linked to the Reconciling Ministries Network.
Meet new people at Dumbarton’s Young Adult Group, which combines faith journeys with social activities. You might find them at a book study session, a restaurant outing, a gathering at someone’s home or at Busboys and Poets. You’ll see them at the worship service, often seated in the right-hand back rows.
Sunday worship is held at 11 a.m. at the church. Adult ed at 10 a.m. most Sundays. Refreshments following church. Nursery provided.
